Job Details We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving medical practice that prioritizes the oral health and overall well-being of children. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oral health care that includes the following: preventive dental care, dietary recommendations, and use of fluoride and sealants.
- Diagnose and treat dental decay, oral diseases, and injuries.
- Manage dental trauma and emergencies.
- Educate and counsel children and their parents about preventive dental care, diet, and other aspects of oral health.
- Conduct oral screenings and risk assessments for infants and children.
- Develop and maintain a treatment plan for patients with special health care needs.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive healthcare plan for the patient.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residency from an accredited program.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state (required).
- Exceptional clinical skills in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to handle a high volume of patients while maintaining high-quality care.
- Strong commitment to ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in pediatric dentistry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, demonstrating professionalism and respect to contribute positively to the work environment.
