PBX Operator at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

On-Call/Variable Shift

The PBX Operator operates telecommunications console in placing, receiving and relaying calls. Answers all incoming calls for Physicians Answering Service and follows each physicians procedure. Performs paging, code announcements and other duties in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualification:

• Hospital or large business switchboard experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
