Part-Time Account Executive / Sales Representative – Sell Premium Gelato to NYC’s Top Restaurants & Bakeries

Aurelia is an NYC-based brand of fresh gelato and vegan sorbetto , crafted with the highest quality ingredients in authentic Asian flavors . We are growing quickly and looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial salesperson to bring our products to New York City’s best Asian restaurants, bakeries, and cafés .

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person sales visits to multiple restaurants, bakeries, and cafés per day, introducing the brand and delivering gelato samples
• Follow up and close deals – answer client questions, gather feedback, and secure orders
• Manage accounts and earn commissions on all repeat orders until account managers are hired
• Identify and research high-potential clients who align with Aurelia’s mission and values
• Be mobile and active – extensive walking required while carrying up to 20 pounds in a shoulder-strap tote bag
• Work a minimum of 10 hours per week on your own schedule

Qualifications (Who You Are)

• A proven salesperson who enjoys hunting for new accounts and building strong client relationships
• Commission-driven , with a track record of earning from results, not a base salary
• Fluent in business-level English and at least one of the following languages: Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai
• Well-connected in NYC’s restaurant and bakery industry – you have direct access to decision-makers who could become clients
• Familiar with Aurelia’s brand, ingredients, and Asian desserts and fruits
• Resilient and adaptable , able to handle rejection and use feedback to improve
• Confident with cold outreach and face-to-face sales , particularly in the foodservice industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships with restaurant and bakery owners, chefs, or buyers who could become clients
• Previous experience in foodservice sales or wholesale distribution
• Familiar with CRM tools such as Pipedrive or Salesforce to track leads and sales progress

Compensation & Benefits

• Commission-only with uncapped earnings – the more you sell, the more you earn
• 20-30% commission on new clients' first two orders (very high in the industry), plus continued commissions on all repeat orders until account managers are hired
• Bonuses for hitting sales milestones
