Full Time Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: New York, NY.
Type: W-2, Part-Time.
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP.
Pay Range:  Starting at $45,000 annually (final compensation based on experience and qualifications).
Shift Options Available:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or
Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Employer: A New York physician-owned professional corporation (the “PC”).
Administrative Agent: VitalCheck Wellness Inc. (non-clinical support only).

Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness, as the administrative agent, is seeking, on behalf of a New York professional corporation owned and directed by licensed physicians (PC), an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a corporate testing center located onsite at a major global investment firm in New York, NY. The RN will be employed by the PC.

This role supports employee health through emergency response services, vaccination programs, point-of-care testing, and biometric screenings. It's an ideal opportunity for a nurse interested in preventive care, rapid response, and working in a structured corporate setting.

Responsibilities:  

• Respond to medical emergencies within the building involving employees.
• Administer vaccines (including flu and COVID) pursuant to standing orders/protocols and documentation requirements.
• Perform rapid point-of-care testing in accordance with applicable laboratory certification/registration and clinic protocols.
• Perform Finger-stick glucose and cholesterol testing.
• Manage patient appointments and workflows.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain and manage onsite medical equipment and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage, restocking, and compliance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of health information and comply with applicable privacy and security requirements (HIPAA and related policies).

Requirements:

• Clean active RN license in New York.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years nursing work experience.
• Highly organized; skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in technology including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and documenting in EMR systems.
• Must be a self-starter who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes while complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws.
• Customer service-oriented, able to work independently, have great 'bedside' manner.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Able to reliably commute to New York, NY.
