About Role
As a member of the Transportation Team you will be responsible for dispatching trailer loads, compiling and maintaining driver logs, ensuring that on-time delivery commitments are met, as well as tracking trailer movement (7 day operation: Sunday thru Saturday).
*Weekends required (Includes Saturday- 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm & Sunday- 2:00 pm to 12:00 am).*
To be considered a candidate an applicant must meet the minimum requirements of the job posting.
1. Two years of college or equivalent technical experience in Transportation or Distribution preferred but not required.
2. Knowledge of and/or familiarity with Transportation and Distribution practices or principles preferred.
3. Ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously while handling heavy telephone call volume.
4. Good organizational skills as demonstrated by previous work experience.
5. Flexibility with regard to working hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays (Friday - Saturday).
6. Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
7. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
8. Flexibility with regard to shift rotations.
