Job Description

Responsibilities:

• As the Palo Alto firewall migration SME convert the current Fortinet and Checkpoint firewall configurations to Palo Alto configurations test and perform the deployment and migration of new Palo Alto firewalls in client locations.
• Perform the firewall configuration cleanup of the client firewalls.
• Advanced level of proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewall Operations is recommended.
• Architectural Design proficiency Technology Architecture proficiency at an intermediate level and Palo Alto Networks Panorama proficiency at an advanced level are suggested.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless technology integration Lead technology architecture discussions and provide strategic insights Implement best practices for Palo Alto Networks Firewall Deployment and Operations Contribute to the continuous improvement of technology architecture processes.
• Migrated Fortinet Checkpoint Data center firewalls to Palo firewalls.
• Performed Firewall rule and policy clean up initiatives for clients in the past.
• Knowledge of advanced NextGen firewall and SASE solutions.
