Job Description

FRONTIER DEVELOPMENT, INC., seeks an experienced and motivated oil & gas construction project manager/coordinator for pipeline and facility projects to support our office in Eunice NM & Big Spring, TX. Work includes experience in bidding writing proposals, managing contracts, schedules, change orders and cost tracking projects from start to completion following the contract and being responsible for the P&L of such. Your responsibilities will include developing new projects, managing project budgets, creating detailed schedules and overseeing resource allocation to ensure optimal execution. You will conduct regular site inspections, review construction plans and specifications, identify potential risks, implement proactive measures to mitigate them and verify that all the work is performed to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential clients and networking with industry contacts.
  • Researching upcoming projects, estimating and preparing proposals and bids.
  • Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, subcontractors, planning, execution, compliance monitoring and closeout.
  • Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
  • Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure profitability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.

Qualifications - 2 years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and safety regulations in New Mexico & TX. Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics. Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders including clients, engineers, and owners.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, Science or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, e.g. PMP.
