EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: New York, NY

Our client, an international AmLaw 50 law firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its premier Employment Litigation Practice in NY . This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle complex employment disputes and provide strategic advice to leading clients in the financial services and asset management industries.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing
• 3-4 years of substantive  employment litigation  and  counseling experience
• Experience litigating employment matters and advising on employment issues, including discrimination , retaliation , restrictive covenants , and executive employment agreements
• Experience with clients in the alternative asset management industry , including hedge funds and private equity funds, is strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to interface directly with clients and deliver practical, business-focused advice
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to superior client service

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support complex employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies
• Draft pleadings , motions , and discovery materials, and participate in depositions , hearings , and settlement negotiations
• Advise employers on workplace law issues , including compliance, investigations, risk management, and policy development
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address employment issues arising in transactions or corporate governance matters
• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide guidance on evolving employment law trends and regulations

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $260,000-$310,000  annually, as determined by experience and market factors
