Telecom Core Admin / Engineer (Nokia Core /5G Project)

Location: Frisco, TX or Kansas City, MO- Onsite 5 days

Duration: Long-term contract

About the Role

Fusion Solutions is hiring multiple Telecom Core Admin / Engineer with hands-on experience in Nokia Core /5G products. This role is not an IT infrastructure position – we are looking for professionals from the telecom core / mobile network domain with direct experience in 4G/5G core integration, provisioning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Nokia Core platforms: NDS, UDM, HSS, HLR, PCF.
• Work with subscriber provisioning flows across core elements.
• Provide operational support for T-Mobile implemented systems (ServiceNow , OneConsole, OneData, CyberArk, NetScout).
• Perform integration, upgrades, and validation in a Cloud Native environment (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Helm).
• Provide support for Dell hardware/IDRAC and NFVI infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve telecom cybersecurity vulnerabilities via configuration and patching.

Daily tasks include:

• Reviewing and updating CMDB.
• Addressing tickets, issues, and escalations.
• Attending vendor and design counterpart meetings.

• Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years in Telecom Core Network Operations/Support (not IT networking).
• Strong knowledge of Nokia Core products (UDM, HSS, HLR, PCF, NDS).
• Experience with subscriber provisioning, Diameter/SIP protocols.
• Cloud Native expertise: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Helm.
• Scripting skills : Python, Ansible, Bash.
• Strong Unix/Linux CLI background.
• Basic knowledge of Load Balancers, Routers, and Databases.
• Familiarity with telecom cybersecurity best practices.

Preferred Background

• Prior work with T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or other telecom operators/vendors.
• Experience in multi-vendor integration and support (Nokia, Ericsson, Amdocs).
• Hands-on with Dell hardware / IDRAC management.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
