Exciting opportunity to join the Avera Milbank Hospital Laboratory in a PRN capacity! Work as needed to help with coverage on a variety of shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Job Summary

Provides accurate and timely test results to ensure the best care for our patients. Provides various testing in the area of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, bacteriology, serology, and body fluids.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school as an MLT or CLT required.


• Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.


• Required to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing per CLIA’88 regulations.

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• NCA or ASCP certification is preferred, but not required.

Work Schedule

• PRN; work as needed to cover a variety of shifts on weekdays and weekends


• Weekday Schedule includes: 6am - 2:30 pm; 6:30 am - 3pm, 7am - 3:30 pm, 8am -5pm, and 9am - 5:30 pm; assist with weekday call from 6pm to 6am


• Weekend Schedule: 7am - 3pm and weekend call from 3pm - 7am

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
