TWe are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to work on an exciting opportunity with a Defense and Aerospace Manufacture company located on the Boca Raton area. This position is On-site and its a direct hire

$80,000 a year salary

Monday- Friday

Morning shift

Boca Raton- Onsite

Job Title: Buyer ( The hiring company will provide Training for this role) The ideal candidate is someone with an Engineering background

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Buyer will be responsible for the procurement/sourcing of parts in order to fulfill incoming customer orders per specifications and drawings provided.
• The Buyer analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and the date the commodity is needed.
• The Buyer will research products, source vendors, and negotiate price, terms, and delivery of a wide variety of technical products including hardware, components, and systems for all types of army and ground forces equipment, including tanks, fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, artillery (self-propelled and towed), trucks, utility vehicles, engineering equipment, countermine equipment, bridging equipment, missile launchers, armaments, radars, electronics, and communications equipment.
• The Buyer will review drawings and ensure materials are purchased from drawing or customer-approved sources.

Required/Preferred Education/Training Machining Background Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings

Required/Preferred Experience

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to handle multiple categories and systems (multi-task)
• Ability to work with others in a teaming environment
• Organized and maintain a system for keeping track of tasks and priorities
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with other departments in the organization and external resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
