**Aerospace Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated mechanical assemblers for our military and defense facility located in Santa Ana, CA. The position offers the flexibility of working either the 1st shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) or the 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm). This role involves repetitive tasks in a high-paced production environment, aiming for the assembly of 5000 units per month. Overtime opportunities are available during the week and on Saturdays. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, preferably in aerospace, electronics, or the medical industry. + Utilize common hand tools and power tools, including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. + Work with pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes, or specialized test equipment. + Read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately. + Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams. + Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities in a challenging work environment. + Possibility of working overtime and weekend shifts as needed. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Working knowledge of electrical components. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Proficient computer skills, including standard browser and word processing applications. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, and nut plates. + Ability to assemble high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, and junction boxes. + Experience with electronic box assembly troubleshooting. + Familiarity with equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks. + Experience with PCBA troubleshooting and running RF systems. **Why Work Here?** Join a rapidly growing company offering long-term opportunities, comprehensive training, and growth potential.
