We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manual Tester/QA Engineer to join our team in a remote, contract-to-hire (C2H) capacity. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in manual testing, an analytical mindset, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that software meets business and technical requirements while maintaining a strong focus on end-user experience.

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical designs to create comprehensive and well-structured test strategies and test plans.
• Lead the creation, execution, and maintenance of detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage across functional, regression, system, integration, and usability testing.
• Drive defect reporting, tracking, and management processes using tools like JIRA , Azure DevOps , or equivalent platforms.
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Validate database operations by writing and executing advanced SQL queries.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices, improving team efficiency and output quality.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide insights to enhance testing processes and identify opportunities for test automation.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and client expectations.

• 8+ years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance roles.
• Extensive knowledge of SDLC , STLC , and testing methodologies, with a focus on Agile frameworks.
• Expertise in test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Strong experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA , Bugzilla , or Trello .
• Proficient in database validation using SQL, including complex queries.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think from an end-user perspective.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working in a collaborative, remote environment.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git ) and CI/CD processes is a plus.
