Job Description

MAU is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Quoizel Lighting in Goose Creek, SC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the facility and equipment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

• Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance-related work.

General Requirements:

• Knowledge of safety procedures when handling chemicals, power tools, and equipment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Basic skills in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting.

Essential Functions:

• Receive and prioritize maintenance work orders from management and employees.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds, including electrical, HVAC systems, and general upkeep.
• Conduct facility maintenance activities such as cleaning, operating machinery, and organizing supplies.
• Make basic repairs and coordinate specialists for complex issues.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on material pallet racking as needed.
• Ensure all facility equipment is in safe working order.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Complete assigned tasks safely and with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
