Maintenance Tech Job Ad

Seeking high-energy individuals who are looking for a fast-paced job. Centurion Maintenance & Remodeling seeking experienced maintenance techs with LOW EGO and HIGH OUTPUT to join our growing team. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured company. CCB #184760. Experience is a plus, but little or no experience needed.

Details and responsibilities for the position are below.  Able to pay more for more experienced techs. Looking for special tradesman as well for flooring and painting.

Desired Skills (again not required but a plus):

• Able to schedule and prioritize workflow
• Knowledge of framing, sheetrock, etc.
• Knowledge of plumbing
• Knowledge of electrical
• Knowledge of appliances a plus
• Sheetrock installs and repairs knowledge
• Able to work with little supervision at times
• Self-starter
• Motivated
• Honest
• Able to install windows and doors
• Remodel experience (Bathrooms and kitchens)
• Ability to work fast and efficiently
• Detail-oriented

Work hours are Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm with some after-hours &; weekend work required.

Payscale: DOE

Must have own vehicle with current valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Tools of the trade a plus.

Property maintenance is essential to every apartment community, and it is the maintenance team that carries out this vital role. Charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds, Maintenance Technicians must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service; the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; superior customer service skills; and great attention to detail. Two or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, and appliances required; experience in painting a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school or industry designation a plus. Valid driver's license, some weekend availability, and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies required.
