About The Role

MagnaCare is seeking Senior Mailroom Specialist for the Mailroom.

Primary Responsibilities

• Outline daily task, priorities and projects with co-workers as needed.
• Communicate with management daily on completion of daily tasks, projects, shipments, inventory, etc.
• Sort Incoming mail.
• Daily printing assignments.
• Daily certified mail tracking and reporting.
• Prep, Scan and Log correspondence and appeals.
• Photocopy and scan documents.
• Prep documents and packages for mailing.
• Apply postage to outgoing mail.
• Create ground and overnight shipments via FedEx or UPS.
• Perform Mailroom Courier duties, when necessary, which include the delivery of packages to departments, driving company vehicle to post office and multiple MagnaCare offices.
• Performs various other clerical duties as required.
• Utilizing mailroom machinery.
• Responsible for tracking and reordering supplies.
• Answer mailroom phone.
• Convert medical records from disc to PDF file.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be a High School graduate.
• Previous clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Valid NYS Driver License.
• Ability to lift/move heavy boxes.
• Microsoft Suite knowledge.
