LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (INTENSIVE SEBS)FAUSEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOLThe Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher will be responsible for providing explicit interventions for students identified with special needs in the intensive SEBS program. The servicing of these students will take place in a substantially sub separate classroom. The Special Education teacher is responsible for a caseload of students and will be responsible for updating the IEP writing progress notes and providing general case management. The applicant will need good communication skills as they will be communicating with teachers parents and other service :-Plan prepare and present lessons for students.-Create lesson plans that honors and embraces the diversity of our school community and meets the individual needs interests and abilities of students.-Employ a variety of instructional strategies that engage students at a high level.-Create a safe structured and positive classroom environment which is responsive to student diversity utilizing positive behavior interventions and strategies -Maintain accurate :-Bachelors Degree-Moderate Special Needs Certification-SEI EndorsementRates:-$130.00/dayCollege Credits or Associates Degree-$145.00/day- 120 College Credits or Bachelors Degree-$160.00/day - Certified or Retired Teachers
