Growing logistics company seeking an exciting motivated professional ready to learn and prosper in the $250 Billion dollar freight industry. Learn first hand from our senior logistics coordinators to understand and assist in daily activities.
Duties:
- Communicating with drivers to meet customers pick up and delivery needs.
- Do what it takes to get the job done
- Resolve customer/vendor complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle very high volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Data entry
- Submit rate contracts and present company materials to vendors.
- Handle fast paced environment, time sensitive, high priority tasks.
- Continuous communication with drivers, dispatchers and customers on shipment details.
- Provide directions, specific delivery instructions and manage changes in scheduling
- Make scheduled check calls to make sure drivers are where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there.
Qualifications
- Must be computer efficient and understand the basic functions of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Logistics experience is preferred
- Ability to quickly and accurately solve problems
- Self-starter with multi-tasking ability and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions to problems

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
The right candidate must be able to work well in a fast-paced and high energy environment, must be able to deal with change and must be able to juggle multiple tasks, clients and deadlines.
Must have great communication skills and know the basics of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel. Logistics Experience a plus but we'll teach you the rest!
