Job Description

Trustpoint is excited to partner with a national law firm in their search of a Litigation Legal Assistant on a direct hire basis. This hybrid role will begin in-office for the first month and then move to a 3 days in/2 days remote schedule. The position will support the firm's litigation practice in bankruptcy and other areas. Successful candidates will have 3+ years' experience in litigation support with prior experience in bankruptcy preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Attorney calendar management, including travel arrangements and monitoring upcoming court appearances
• Draft a variety of correspondence and prepare legal documents, including briefs and pleading; filing both electronically and traditionally
• Provide case management assistance and tracking of litigation
• Enter attorney timesheets, utilizing firm software; maintaining attorney diary system
• Answer, screen, direct or take messages of phone calls; scheduling depositions, meetings and appointments
• File system maintenance and management, per firm guidelines
• Enter and document expense reimbursements
• Other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in litigation support; experience in bankruptcy (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in court filings, both E-filing and traditional
• Able to generate TOC and TOA
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Professional
• Able to communicate will all levels of attorney and staff, effectively and professionally
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Able to prioritize workflow and manage cases/projects efficiently
• All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
