Position: Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Portland, OR

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, hybrid (3 days WFH)

Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 annually

LHH is working with a law firm in Portland is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work environment with a flexible schedule, a collaborative team culture, and a strong benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level support to multiple attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice.
• Manage docketing responsibilities with a thorough understanding of the Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure (ORCP).
• E-file documents in Oregon District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
• Draft and prepare legal correspondence and document shells.
• Maintain case files and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proactively coordinate with attorneys and team members to ensure smooth workflow and case management .

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of legal assistant experience in high-level civil litigation (more experience strongly preferred).
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Oregon civil litigation, including familiarity with ORCP.
• Proven experience supporting trial preparation (the case does not need to have gone to trial).
• Strong e-filing and docketing experience in Oregon courts ; knowledge of Oregon appellate rules is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a team-centric environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and practice management systems.
• Must reside in Oregon or Washington.
