Renzo Rastelli is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Designer to join our team in our West Hollywood

showroom. As a direct importer of luxury Italian cabinetry, we offer both retail services and design consulting,

providing our clients with high-quality, custom solutions. This unique business model requires a Junior Designer with

a strong eye for design, expertise in generating concepts and layouts, and the ability to read construction drawings.

Attention to detail is a must.

Position Overview:

The Junior Designer will report to the Managing Director and assist in all aspects of the design process, from initial

concept to final execution. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organized, solution-oriented, and

committed to contributing to a collaborative team environment. This role requires both creativity and technical know- how to execute designs that reflect both the client’s vision and the architectural integrity of the space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage an occasional heavy workload with a positive and

professional attitude.

• Identify the architectural style and flow of a space and translate this into cabinetry designs tailored to the

client’s needs.

• Communicate effectively with our factories in Italy to ensure accurate and timely orders.

• Read and interpret floor plans, construction documents, and have a strong understanding of custom

cabinetry design and construction.

• Participate in meetings and presentations with clients, vendors, and contractors.

• Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

• Handle office administrative tasks and phone calls in a professional manner.

• Take accurate field measurements and conduct site visits independently as needed.

• Oversee the delivery of cabinetry, appliances, and plumbing fixtures.

• Master product knowledge in cabinetry, appliances, and plumbing fixtures.

• Draft plans, elevations, and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

• Previous experience in retail, interior design, or architecture.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
