Job Title: IT Business Systems Analyst/Business Analyst

Job Purpose: Analyzes business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Programmer/Analysts. Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise; Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices; Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations; May lead functional teams or projects; Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization; Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This individual will manage various IT projects from requirements gathering to deployment, leveraging agile methodologies. The ideal candidate has experience in billing systems, .NET applications, and/or Salesforce projects and is adept at coordinating offshore and internal development teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and UX designers to align deliverables with requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, demos, and sign-offs.

Team interaction:

• Work with offshore development team based in India, ensuring clear communication and task prioritization.
• Coordinate with internal developers, UX designers, and testers to meet project objectives.

Technical Focus:

• Oversee projects involving billing systems, .NET applications, and Salesforce implementations/enhancements.
• Understand technical constraints and dependencies to guide project execution effectively.

Reporting and Communication:

• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, issue logs, and risk mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis.
• Proven experience managing projects involving billing systems, .NET applications, and/or Salesforce platforms.
• Experience working with offshore teams and managing distributed resources.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions.
• Proficiency in creating detailed project documentation, workflows, and user stories.

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
• Salesforce Admin or related certification (preferred but not required).
