Sterling Engineering is looking for a Vendor Management Inventory Specialist with a leading manufacturer in Pewaukee, WI. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company!

Job Duties :

• Monitor and replenish customer site inventory to maintain defined stocking levels
• Identify opportunities to expand product offerings in the VMI program
• Take and relay customer spot orders to sales teams
• Assist customers with inventory space/placement and product shipments
• Maintain awareness of customer min/max levels and report to management
• Visit customers on a set schedule and make emergency visits as needed
• Address customer inquiries and suggest product improvements
• Ensure accurate tagging of product bins in customer facilities
• Keep management and sales teams updated on customer projects and interactions
• Regularly check emails, phone messages, and texts for customer communication
• Participate in sales programs, promotions, and training
• Ensure shipment accuracy by reviewing delivery paperwork and packing slips
• Troubleshoot process issues related to incorrect shipments, shortages, or delays

Qualifications :

• Mechanical/technical knowledge required
• Understanding of fluid connector products, hose assemblies, and fitting thread types
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, shipping manifests, and packing lists
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent time management and data entry skills
• Parker-Hannifin product knowledge a plus
