Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Management Intern to join our technology team at ACORE CAPITAL, one of the largest investment managers of U.S. commercial real estate debt. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of commercial real estate finance and technology. You will collaborate with Product and Project Managers to deliver high-impact solutions, assisting with key product and project management tasks. Additionally, you’ll partner with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to create and refine test cases, gaining hands-on experience in user testing and project execution. This role will be headquartered from any of the following office locations; San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, or New York.

Responsibilities

Product Management Support:

  • Assist Product Managers in gathering, organizing, and refining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business stakeholders, and external consultants, to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.
  • Support ticket triage and task management by refining and clarifying requirements.

Quality Assurance Assistance:

  • Partner with QA teams to draft, review, and execute test cases for user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure testing processes align with business requirements and help identify areas for improvement.

Project Management Exposure:

  • Participate in planning and execution of product updates, feature rollouts, and operational improvements.
  • Gain hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Excel to track progress and report outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in technology, product management, or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Excel, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Prior experience or coursework in project management, product management, or software development is a bonus.

Compensation: $25/hour.

Schedule: Flexible; 25-40 hours per week, depending on availability and needs.
