Air Central is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 4+ years of experience to service a dedicated route of commercial customers. The ideal person is able to multi-task in a dynamic setting, work independently, communicate effectively with customers, stay organized, and problem solve.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on A/C systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls, troubleshoot issues, and perform emergency repairs.
• Locate and diagnose A/C system deficiencies and malfunctions, prepare proposals to repair equipment, and complete repairs.
• Remove and install replacement A/C systems.
• Train junior members of the Service Department team.
• Work face-to-face with customers daily. Communicate technical issues and recommendations with customers using simple terms that are understandable.
• Work safely and adhere to the company’s safety program.

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience with HVAC equipment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Be physically fit to perform the duties of the trade
• Be willing to join the Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 675, including passing a placement evaluation exam
Work Hours:
Start time: 6:30 a.m. Monday–Friday
Must be flexible to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
Must be available to work a non-restricted on-call shift one week each month.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay range: $80,000-$130,000 (base pay)
Benefits, including full family medical coverage and retirement plan contributions, are provided through the Local 675 union.
