Registered Nurse (RN) – Join Our Team at Varco Home Health

Varco Home Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team serving Corpus Christi Texas. We are currently needing coverage in the Northwest Southwest and Southeast areas. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, offering the flexibility to work your own hours—ideal for clinicians looking for work-life balance or supplemental income. As a member of our home health team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care directly in the home. We are looking for a dependable RN who is committed to excellent clinical outcomes and dedicated to meeting each patient’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs in their home setting.

Develop and Implement Nursing Care Plans:
Create individualized care plans based on clinical findings, physician orders, and patient goals.

Skilled Nursing Interventions:
Provide wound care, medication administration, chronic disease management, catheter care, and other skilled nursing services per physician orders and best practices.

Patient and Caregiver Education:
Teach patients and caregivers how to manage conditions safely at home, including medication management, symptom monitoring, and health maintenance strategies.

Monitor and Document Progress:
Track patient progress and revise care plans as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes. Complete all documentation accurately and timely.

Provide Compassionate, High-Quality Care:
Support patients with empathy, respect, and professionalism, promoting independence and improved quality of life.

Qualifications :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX)

Previous experience in home health or acute care preferred

Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt care to individual patient needs

Knowledge of current evidence-based nursing practices

Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patients’ homes

Valid Driver's License

Kinnser/Wellsky EMR experience preferred

Work Location:

On the Road: Serving Corpus Christi Texas

Pay Rate: 50-120 (Per Visit)
