Job Description

Our client, a children’s apparel company, is hiring a Graphic Artist Girls, ages 2-10 to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). The ideal candidate will have experience working across various product categories, including apparel, accessories, and packaging.

Job Duties Include:

• Develop original, trend-forward graphics for girls' apparel and related product categories
• Conduct research on seasonal trends to create fresh, market-relevant designs
• Design placement prints, all-over prints, and typography-based graphics
• Partner with design, merchandising, and production teams to create cohesive collections
• Prepare production-ready artwork optimized for screen printing, embroidery, and other embellishment techniques
• Collaborate with licensors and brand partners to ensure designs align with established style guides
• Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to drive innovation
• Ensure all artwork meets brand identity, pricing strategies, and retailer specifications

Job Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Artist in mass-market retail
• A strong portfolio showcasing girls' fashion graphics and trend-driven designs
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• In-depth knowledge of print production techniques and fabric applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Strong understanding of color, typography, and composition
• Experience working within licensing and branding guidelines is a plus
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Salary: $70k - $75k annually
