Job Description

Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP is seeking a General Liability Defense/Coverage Associate with 1 - 5 years of New York state and federal court experience in New York Labor Law, property damage, premises liability and construction defect or medical malpractice litigation and nursing home litigation for its Hawthorne, New York office.

The ideal candidate must be an active member in good standing of the New York bar, and have demonstrated litigation/coverage experience, including independent case management, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery, drafting pleadings and motions, and attending mediations and case management conferences/court hearings.

The successful candidate must be a well-organized self-starter, with excellent writing and analytical abilities, who can manage tasks and deadlines independently, while keeping key stakeholders informed of case status.
