Receptionist Full Time (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

Springwoods Behavioral Health is an affiliated 80-bed acute care behavioral health facility located in Northwest Arkansas and has been providing quality health care to the residents Northwest Arkansas since 2009. The hospital provides 24-hour acute care behavioral health services.

Springwoods Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and talented Receptionist to serve as the communication and information center for the hospital.   This position correctly answers and routes all incoming telephone calls, takes messages, and ensures smooth functioning of the hospital switchboard and telephone communications.  The Receptionist cordially greets and receives hospital guests, establishes their needs and appropriately directs visitors. 

Interpersonal Relations: As a representative of Springwoods Behavioral Health and Universal Health Services, Inc, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct affect on the hospital’s image and perceptions of quality service.  Interaction with patients, physicians, referral sources, affiliate schools, guests, visitors, volunteer workers, co-workers, supervisors, vendors, etc. must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional.  This behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork, which is congruent with hospital standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.

Qualifications

Education :  High school diploma or GED. 

Experience :  One year of experience in switchboard operations or receptionist duties at a hospital, healthcare facility or institutional setting.  Medical receptionist training or experience preferred. Two years of experience in collection and follow-up procedures in a hospital, healthcare office environment or institutional setting or insurance company, which must have included experience with public or call center help desk.
