Job Description

A leading insurance and asset management company headquartered in NYC is seeking a Fortinet Engineer to join its growing tech team. This full-time, fully remote role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work on innovative infrastructure projects utilizing both AWS and Fortinet technologies.


Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and network engineering.
• Hands-on experience building out and managing Fortinet environments (Firewalls, Switches, etc.).
• Proficiency with AWS cloud environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure management and optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco ISE or NAC solutions.
• Familiarity with Nutanix.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.

• 50% Fortinet Infrastructure Projects
• 30% AWS Integration
• 20% Networking and Access Solutions

Daily Responsibilities

• 60% Hands-On Technical Implementation
• 20% Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
• 20% Infrastructure Optimization and Automation

The Offer

• Base Salary: $100K+
• Bonus or Commission Eligible
