Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Chadbourn, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and other industrial equipment. This position offers competitive pay starting at $15.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience (DOE). Full benefits and retirement plans are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct repairs on various forklift components, including engines, brakes, hydraulics, and transmissions.
• Order and replace parts as necessary.
• Maintain accurate service records and report all repairs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair techniques for forklifts.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment safely.
