POSITION SUMMARY

Moonshot Solutions is seeking an experienced tax professional with four to ten years of public accounting experience. If you are looking for an outstanding opportunity to grow with a successful accounting firm and have a passion for people, accounting, and tax, this position is for you.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle tax planning projects for individuals and businesses
• Review individual, partnership, trust, and corporation tax returns
• Manage client relationships and staff
• Identify and research accounting and tax related matters
• Prepare complex tax returns
• Provide accounting assistance to small and medium sized businesses
• Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Calculate income tax provisions for GAAP financial statements
• Learn new information and skills quickly
• Communicate with management and clients on tax issues and situations

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA
• Three to ten years' experience in Public Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with ProSystem Engagement and/or ProSystemTax (PREFERRED)
• Experience with CCH Intelliconnect and BNA Tax Research platforms (PREFERRED)
