Job Title: Family Assistant

Location: Garden City, NY
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule, 4-5 hours per day)
Compensation:$35/hr after taxes, with reimbursement for gas and mileage

Job Description:
A busy family in Garden City, NY is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to help with daily household tasks. This position offers flexible hours (20-25 hours per week), and the family is happy to work around your schedule. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable with a variety of tasks, including running errands, light household management, and helping with the family’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Run errands, including grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household tasks
• Drive to various locations for appointments, errands, and other family needs (must have a car)
• assist with the family’s 2 dogs (walks, feeding, etc.)
• Help with scheduling and coordination of family activities
• Provide occasional support to the mom and older children as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have a reliable car for errands (gas and mileage will be reimbursed)
• Comfortable with dogs and able to provide basic care
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Previous experience in family assistance, nannying, or a related role is a plus

Additional Information:

• The family consists of two dogs, a mom, and two older kids who drive themselves.
• The family is offering a flexible work schedule and is open to a candidate who can commit to 20-25 hours per week.
