Job Description

Beacon Hill is seeking a dedicated Litigation/Family Law Legal Assistant to join a dynamic law firm in Denver. This role supports three attorneys and involves a range of responsibilities, from document preparation to client communication. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in family law, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude. This role offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days remote per month. It offers a competitive salary DOE $75k-85k.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery responses).
• File documents electronically with state and federal courts.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
• Manage attorneys' calendars, schedule key meetings, and coordinate deadlines.
• Prepare expense reports and handle billing-related documentation.
• Track and follow up on deadlines to ensure timely task completion.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of family law and litigation experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with legal document management systems (e.g., iManage).
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and protocols.
• A stable work history with demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
