Tutor Doctor is a local tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 13 years. We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring that helps students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and discover the joy in learning. We are currently seeking an Executive Functioning Skills Tutor/Coach to support students in the Ridgewood area. The ideal candidate will have experience helping students strengthen their organizational skills, time management, study strategies, and overall academic independence. Responsibilities: * Work one-on-one with students to improve executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, prioritization, and task initiation. * Support students with building study habits, note-taking strategies, and homework completion routines. * Collaborate with families and our team to provide consistent feedback and progress updates. * Customize approaches to meet the needs of students with ADHD, learning differences, or other executive functioning challenges. Qualifications: * Background in education, special education, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred. * Experience working with students on executive functioning and academic coaching strategies. * Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills. * Ability to travel to students’ homes in Ridgewood, NJ and surrounding areas.
