Our client, a large Investment Bank, is seeking an Entry Level Analyst in their Jersey City, NJ location:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a degree in Finance to join our team in an entry-level capacity. This role provides exposure to various areas of finance including financial analysis, reporting, operations, and client service. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, analytical, and ready to grow within a dynamic financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and create models to support business decisions.
• Perform data entry and reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Conduct research on market trends, investment opportunities, and financial best practices.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and update financial records in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, or internal teams regarding financial matters.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, accountants, or portfolio managers on various projects.
• Use tools such as Excel, financial databases, and ERP systems to analyze and organize financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic understanding of financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Internship or part-time experience in finance, accounting, or business-related roles.
• Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks, Bloomberg, or SAP.
