We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and dynamic Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role, ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a creative approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of design and/or manufacturing experience and a passion for developing innovative products from concept to completion.

• Oversee and manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
• Develop new products incorporating structural, mechanical, and electrical design.
• Create innovative system-level designs and improve existing designs.
• Maintain and create bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and production time estimates.
• Resolve discrepancies between standard and actual costs and assist in costing new products.
• Source parts through new and existing supply chains.
• Collaborate with factory staff, vendors, and customers to ensure project success.

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, OR equivalent expertise in Electrical System Design.
• 5 years of design and/or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and bills of materials.
• Experience with Electrical System design in low and medium voltages.
• AC Motor Control experience including Variable Frequency Drives, Transducers, Motor Starters, etc.
• PLC programming experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects with a proven record of delivering results, and building long term relationships.
• Strong communication skills with ability to effectively interface with factory, sales staff, vendors, and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software.
• Strong technical writing skills.

• 2+ years of experience managing design projects from inception to completion.
• Advanced knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Product design experience, with an emphasis on sheet metal components.
