Job Description

Oversee the daily operations of the Electrical Assembly work center, managing a team of 40 electrical and harness assemblers. Responsibilities include directing personnel and special processes, managing administrative tasks, implementing process improvements, controlling raw materials, optimizing safety, and ensuring adherence to delivery schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Electrical, ESD, Testing, and compound molding processes.
• Control and optimize work and workloads in the electrical assembly process.
• Recommend improvements for production methods, performance, equipment, and product quality.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, collaborating with direct reports.
• Define processes and resources needed for timely product output.
• Ensure consistent production quality.
• Interface with other departments to meet customer order deadlines.
• Manage personnel performance, evaluations, conduct, and compliance.
• Interview, hire, train, and mentor personnel.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Develop subordinates’ skills, encourage growth, and mentor future leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a four-year college or technical school, with 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team of 20 or more in troubleshooting and assembling military mechanical and/or electromechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and assembling military mechanical and/or electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Skills in analyzing and interpreting technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and government regulations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Plusses:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP software; knowledge of SAP ERP software.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
