Primary Function:

This position is responsible for developing DoD eLearning courses using various eLearning Authoring tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and other similar tools.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Partner with Instructional Systems Designers to develop interactive eLearning courses.
2. Advise Instructional Systems Designers and customers on platform options available and best modes of delivery for various types of courses.
3. Develop style guides, course templates, and engaging user interfaces.
4. Collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts to ensure identified customer needs are being met.
5. Work as a member of a team and coordinate tasks of team members to ensure the goals of the project are met in a timely manner.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience developing courses in Adobe Captivate
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Skills with web technologies such as HTML, XHTML and CSS
• Advanced knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable.
• Must have active DOD Secret Clearance
• Proficient in English language
• US Citizenship
• Current Secret Clearance

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with US Navy training and development curriculum preferred
• Experience working as a Government Contractor or with contracts, DoD experience preferred
• Provide sample work products in Adobe Captivate
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

• This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
