Midwest Staffing is partnering with a leading infrastructure project team to hire an experienced Document Controller for a large-scale construction initiative in the Fargo-Moorhead area. About the Role:

As a Document Controller , you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation related to handover processes, interim completions, and substantial completion milestones. This role ensures document accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution to support cross-functional project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain project documents using a construction-based Document Management System (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Receive, register, track, and distribute RFI’s, change notifications, deviations, and related documents.
• Ensure adherence to document numbering systems, workflows, templates, and distribution protocols.
• Support handover documentation and ensure timely and accurate submission of certification-related records.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly reports and provide administrative support as needed.
• Liaise with internal teams to verify documentation accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of document control experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience using Aconex is essential.
• Strong understanding of U.S. certification and billing standards (AIA G702/G703, payment certificates).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard document control platforms.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and data management skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
