Addison Group is seeking a skilled Document Control Technician for our client, a fast-growing company in the data mining industry. This is a contract-to-hire position designed for someone who excels at managing construction-related documentation and thrives in a detail-oriented, team-based environment.

Job Description:

The Document Control Technician is responsible for managing and distributing engineering and construction documentation. The role plays a critical part in ensuring documentation accuracy, compliance, and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain construction and engineering documentation.
• Route documentation based on content type and approval workflows.
• Track and monitor document status to ensure timely distribution and version control.
• Collaborate across departments to support compliance and quality processes.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in document control procedures.
• Recognize different document types and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Support project teams with document tracking related to third-party deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in document control, preferably within construction or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with document control systems (no specific platform required).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of construction documentation and project lifecycles.
• Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams and large sets of technical documents.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible)
• Background Check: Required (must be completed within the last 6 months), including:
• Social Security verification
• County, Federal, and Nationwide Criminal Checks

• Terrorist Watchlist and Global Sanctions Search
