Job Description

We are currently seeking to hire a Director of Systems and Automation Sales (racking, shelving, automation ) to join our TMHS team!

You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities while building and growing a successful sales team to drive systems and automation sales through a well-established Toyota Material Handling Solutions customer base, as well as future customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, propose and secure turnkey projects consisting of pallet racking systems, carton flow, pallet flow, pick modules, powered conveyors, autonomous vehicles and other material handling equipment. As well as long-term maintenance contracts.
  • Design new facilities or build expansion projects that stream line the operation; maximize productivity; and support high volume order fulfillment that meet or exceed customer’s overall objectives.
  • Oversee and coordinate the System sales team activities to support customer leads from sales consultants.
  • Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Report on team and individual performance
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential customers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in warehouse systems and sales management
  • Previous experience with material handling, industrial / manufacturing engineering; supply chain; logistics
  • Experience in establish budgets; implement cost justification programs; track productivity and ROI performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain schedule.

Base starting salary range $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year (depending on experience) plus potential commissions to exceed $300,000.00 total compensation, based on department financial performance.
