Director of Sales Analytics

Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote Eligible)

Salary: $160-180k base + bonus

Are you an experienced analytics leader with a passion for driving sales performance and operational efficiency? We’re looking for a Director of Sales Analytics to lead critical initiatives that foster revenue growth, enhance sales productivity, and optimize operations.

About the Role:

As Director of Sales Analytics, you will spearhead sales strategy, workforce planning, and analytics efforts in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You’ll lead a team of sales analysts, delivering key insights to improve sales performance and optimizing workforce management for maximum profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Performance & Analytics: Design and manage reporting frameworks to track sales KPIs, staffing levels, and other key revenue metrics.
  • Workforce Optimization: Lead capacity planning and forecasting efforts to ensure sales teams are effectively resourced across all channels.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the customer experience, operational effectiveness, and sales strategy.
  • Technology & System Enhancements: Drive improvements in CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, NetSuite) and use data visualization tools (Domo, Tableau) to streamline processes.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales analytics environment. Preferably with experience working at a leading retailer or ecommerce brand.
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive sales growth and operational excellence.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, forecasting, and scheduling in an omni-channel sales setting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM, ERP, and data visualization tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, Domo, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams, executing data-driven strategies, and improving business performance.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
