Job Description

Position Summary:  Working independently and/or alongside co-workers, you will work with our facilities team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment across the University campus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Maintain floors in various buildings (sweep, vacuum, mop, etc.)
• Clean and properly disinfect restrooms, replenishing paper products when necessary
• Regularly empty trash cans and perform other necessary tasks as needed to maintian an orderly presence within our facilities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn hazards and safety methods related to custodial operations
• Ability to work independently and/or alongside others to completely and effectively accomplish assigned tasks
