Job Description

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of medical and healthcare construction projects. You will lead project teams, ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards. Your expertise in medical and healthcare construction will be essential to ensuring these specialized projects are executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of medical and healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure quality control and timely delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with healthcare-specific building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Prepare and review project schedules and daily reports to track progress and identify potential risks.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols on-site.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a strong background in healthcare or medical construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, particularly in the healthcare sector (hospital/medical office construction, etc.).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial ground-up construction projects.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with project teams and clients.
• A solid understanding of healthcare-specific building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing project demands.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but significant experience in healthcare construction will be considered.
