LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist for a leading manufacturer in Huron, OH. Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in operating DMU Series-5 Axis milling machines to join their dynamic team.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining DMU Series-5 Axis milling machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate DMU Series-5 Axis milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with specific experience in operating DMU Series-5 Axis milling machines.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
