Tarvos Talent is seeking a contract-to-hire Trust Compliance Associate for a client in Downtown Houston. This onsite position offers an opportunity to support compliance efforts and trust operations, ensuring adherence to regulations while maintaining accurate financial records.
In this role, you will reconcile transactions and accrual accounts, prepare journal entries, and review trust activity for regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for processing withdrawals, monitoring investments, and collaborating with business locations to ensure timely trust reporting and deposits. Additionally, you will maintain key schedules, track deadlines, and assist with audits, tax returns, and ad-hoc reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or equivalent experience with a focus on financial and/or trust reporting, along with strong Excel skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is also highly encouraged. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
