Job Description

This job is about working with data and suppliers to make sure they follow the company’s shipping rules. You’ll collect and clean up data from different sources so it’s accurate and useful. You’ll also help suppliers understand and follow the rules for shipping products.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contact suppliers who aren’t following the shipping rules.
• Find out why they’re not following the rules and help fix the problems.
• Teach suppliers how to use a system called MercuryGate to enter shipping info correctly.
• Track which suppliers are following the rules and which still need help.
• Report on trends—like how supplier behavior changes after you contact them.
• Hold meetings with suppliers who continue to break the rules and give them clear guidance.
• Explain the differences between two types of shipping: Stock and Dropship , and what’s required for each.

Must-Haves:

• Good with both people and data.
• Can work well with different teams to help new suppliers get started.
• Comfortable working with large amounts of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills—able to find the root of a problem and suggest practical solutions.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with data tools like Snowflake or BigQuery .
• Can build reports using existing data tables.
• Background in transportation or shipping is a big plus.
• Familiar with MercuryGate or similar systems—can pull data and understand what’s important for compliance.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
