Job Description

Our client is looking for a stellar storyteller who can create compelling content for internal communications.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $30 - $45 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Independently writes and delivers internal communications that educate, inform and connect with employees
• Brings culture to life through creative storytelling including articles and digital/video storytelling (in partnership with creative team)
• Develops communications touchpoints and key messaging that help to lead employees through change
• Manages editorial calendar, balancing inputs from multiple teams and identifying potential conflicts
• Evaluates performance for communications based on metrics and other leading key performance indicators

Experience Requirements

• Strong writing experience including writing communications and content for newsletters and other internal communication verticals
• Outstanding writing and story-telling skills with sound editorial judgment
• Experience with project management
• The ability to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications
• Proficient at creating communication cascades within matrixed organizations
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing, activities and complex projects to high quality conclusion on-time
• writing content background in change management experience would be a bonus

Education Requirements

BA in communications, marketing, English or journalism

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
