Job Description

We are looking for a COBOL Programmer (Intermediate) to join our client's team in support of their federal DoD customer.

This is a direct hire position with our client with a salary range of up to $105k/year.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL and JCL programs in a mainframe environment.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Conduct peer code reviews, perform root cause analysis, and resolve integration issues.
• Prepare project updates and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in team meetings

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• US Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain federal clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience with mainframe applications.
• Strong skills in COBOL, JCL, testing, debugging, version control, and documentation.

Location:

• This is a full-time onsite position located in Columbus, OH. Applicants must reside within a commutable distance in order to work onsite full-time
